Removable Prosthesis
Also known as Removable Dentures and has been the cornerstone of dentistry for centuries to restore missing teeth. A denture can be made of dental resins combined with artificial teeth and even include a casted metal framework of flexible material to improve comfort, aesthetics and function.
Fixed Prosthesis
Fixed prosthesis are devices that are permanently fixed into a patient’s mouth. These devices range from restorations made for metal-ceramic crowns and bridges and all ceramic or metal free crown and bridges. Theses can be fixed on patient’s residual teeth or even dental implants placed surgically in the patient’s jaw.
